Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games, a huge international sport event for athletes, have officially announced a 12-member Board of Directors. As one of the its first tasks, the Board will choose an executive officer along with a management team helping to organize the huge event taking place in 2015. The Canadian Olympic Committee is "eager to work with all partners as logistical preparations begin for the Games fewer than six years away."

The Games, according to many the biggest and most prestigious sport event that ever took place in Toronto should help the economy very much. They will create hundreds and thousand of construction jobs, housing units. improve sports infrastructure and bring about 250,000 sportsmen, couches and tourists to Ontario. Premier of the province, Dalton McGuinty, said, "Ontario is excited about the prospect of hosting the Games. They will leave a lasting legacy of top-notch sporting facilities, and we will build stronger ties with the people of the Americas and the Caribbean."

Exciting event for all lovers of sport, that’s for sure. Also, it will bring many tourists and create many job in the region, which is only positive. Toronto and Ontario will be one of the most watched places in the world once again. Let’s hope the new Board will plan and manage everything well.
