That is, after a 2.4 percent rise in October, they only went up by 2 percent annually in November, Statistics Canada reported. From October, the prices went up by 0.1 percent. Have you every though about the signs of a modern city? I bet that some of you would answer scryscrapers. These tall buildings definitely became focal points of our lives all over the world, especially in North America.

To qualify for a skyscraper, the building has to be over 500 feet (152 m) high, with usable storeys and self-supporting skeleton structure. The first building that combines all of these elements was Equitable Life Assurance Co Building in New York, completed in 1870. However, as a first real skyscraper is considered to be 55 metres (180 feet) Home Life Insurance Co Building in Chicago, finished in 1885.

Interestingly, people like this type of home, so much so, that if there is a shortage of these types of properties; developers either create them from old buildings or build new homes with typical loft apartment features. Not only had they increased for the fourth time in five months, but the rise was lot faster than many economists had predicted. The overall prediction was a 0.6 percent growth, but it was actually more than twice this amount – the sales rose by 1.4 percent to $44.4 billion according to Statistics Canada.
