In case you didn't know, I'm now informing you that the Home renovation tax doesn't only apply to houses. Surprised? It's great, isn't it? Check out this site to see how you can apply for Home Renovation Tax Credit (HRTC). There's not much time left to use it.
HRTC is a non-refundable tax credit based on qualified spending incurred for purchased goods or performed work after January 27, 2009 and before February 1, 2010. You can claim HRTC when filing your tax return for 2009 and you can save even $1,350 on home improvements with it.
For example, building a garage, swimming pool, fireplace, renovating your kitchen or purchasing new doors and windows can be considered as eligible expenses. However, furniture, electronics or routine repairs and cleaning are not deemed as qualified expenses.
A great chance to renovate your home with financial support! You still have almost three weeks to use this advantage. Don't miss it!
