2010 Toronto Green Awards

Do environmental issues interest you? Toronto Green Awards are just right for you then. Actually, you can even submit nominations for the 2010 awards. But you need to hurry up! There is only couple of days left, as the deadline for nominations is February 12. The ceremony itself will take place at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition place here in Toronto on April 23, 2010.

The sixth annual awards, sponsored by our city are rewarding individuals and companies contributing to better and more ecological future of our city. As our Mayor David Miller said, “The Green Toronto Awards recognize that everyone can show environmental leadership and contribute to a cleaner, greener and more sustainable city.”

If you belong to people trying to help our environment or if you know someone (or something) who is, just nominate them, there’s quite of you categories and one of them will surely be fitting. They deserve it and who knows, they might succeed. We will find out in April.
