Make Quality Of Life Better by Emily
Good news for Ontario!!! As part of the social housing renovation and retrofit investments, 13 housing cooperatives in the province are going to get more than $2 million through Canada's Economic Action Plan, Patrick Brown, Member of Parliament for Barrie has announced yesterday on behalf of the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister Responsible for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development.
Patrick Brown is convinced that not only financially supporting retrofit and social housing renovation projects will make the quality of life of Ontario residents better. Moreover, it will help the local economy and job creation. Safer and more affordable homes and also improved employment situation should thus be the positive consequences of the Action Plan implementation.
Of course, Ontario is not the only province supported by the action plan, thus the economic situation should get better in whole country. Hopefully, at least, we cannot take the positive results for granted and sometimes investment can turn out just wrong. Let’s believe it’s not like that in this case.
