Culture, theater, dance and music fans, here is something interesting for you again! “Billy Elliot the Musical” is coming to Toronto soon!!! The exact date of its opening in our city is not know yet, but it is official that it will be February 2011, David Mirvish from Toronto theater announced yesterday.

“Billy Elliot the Musical” had a premiere in London, the UK back in 2005, its debut on Broadway was in 2008 and it also toured in Australia. The success of the musical has been great, the proof of which is the high number of its international awards – 73.

I’m quite sure you have heard about the movie of the same title which the musical is based on and if you liked it, you will like the musical too. Actually, maybe even more than the movie, as live experience is really unforgettable sometimes. In case you are interested, single tickets for the show should go on sale in September 2010.
