Culture lovers, have you heard about the program of the Ballet of Canada in season 2010-2011? It was just announced yesterday by Karen Kain, the artistic director of the National Ballet of Canada. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, inspired by the well known novel of Lewis Carroll, should be the top attention getter of the season.

The Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is actually a co-production between the National Ballet and the Royal Ballet. Its premiere will be in London next February and after that it will come to Toronto in June 2011. This show surely is not the only interesting one of the National Ballet, though. Chroma with music by the White Stripes, Cinderella (November 2010), The Nutcracker (December 2010 and January 2011), Russian Seasons (March 2011) or Don Quixote (March 2011) certainly also belong to the highlights of the season.

Seems like there’s a lot to look forward to, if you enjoy ballet. It should be a pretty good season. For the detailed program and more info about all the shows, check out the official website of the National Ballet of Canada.
