Worst Hotel in Toronto

TripAdvisor has recently published a list of dirtiest hotels in few countries, based on TripAdvisor traveler reviews. Canada is among the evaluated states and unfortunately one of the top 10 dirtiest Canadian hotels is apparently located right here, in Toronto.

To be exact, it is the Bay Street Motel that ranked really high, however in a negative sense. It “won” the second place. According to the ratings on the TripAdvisor website, 97 percent of the visitors do not recommend this hotel. The vast majority, 27 out of 30 raters, think that the hotel is “terrible”. It is “poor” according to one person, average according to one and very good according to one person too. No one rated the motel as excellent.

As for the overall list – the only Canadian hotel that got worse results than Bay Street Motel is Arkona Motel from Niagara Falls. Also, quite a few hotels from the top 10 list is located in Ontario. I have never been to Bay Street Motel thus I cannot really say my opinion. Have you ever been there? If so, what is your view?
