I just cannot believe how quickly time goes by! A long expected event which is to place in Toronto, the G20 summit, is almost here. Is our city ready? Mayor David Miller is very optimistic about it and is convinced that the security preparations are “as strong and robust as they can possibly be anywhere in the world”.

More positive news! March was a pretty successful month when considering the wholesale sales in Canada. Not only had they increased for the fourth time in five months, but the rise was lot faster than many economists had predicted. The overall prediction was a 0.6 percent growth, but it was actually more than twice this amount – the sales rose by 1.4 percent to $44.4 billion according to Statistics Canada.

New neighbours by Alison

But let’s be honest with ourselves too – sometimes we all have our moments and if it doesn’t concerns us directly, then we rarely realize we are not ideal neighbors either. So how do we stop becoming bad neighbors? That is what this article aims to, at least partly, give an answer to.

Life Through a Magnifying Glass
by Wesley
If you have ever purchased a home, you probably know what ‘final walkthrough’ means. Almost every buyer has to go through it at some point; normally it is completed shortly before the final closing. It is basically the very last check, or inspection, of the property before the buyer finalises purchase.

The prices of Canadian homes are going to drop slightly in 2011. This is what the Toronto-Dominion Bank forecasted on Wednesday. The reason, according to the bank, is that the increasing interest rates (the economists of the bank are expecting the Central Bank to raise them in June), are going to reduce the ability of the people to purchase property.
