Royal Bank of Canada has once again released the results of its Consumer Outlook Index! It shows that in the second quarter of 2010, the consumer confidence of Canadians has not changed at all if compared to the beginning of the year, as it remained at the level of 108.

In the survey, conducted online during the first 8 days of June, 67 percent of the 3,229 respondents said that the overall economic outlook is good. Compared to the last time the survey was conducted, it is a 13 percent increase. On the other hand, the number of Canadians who believe their financial situation is going to improve has declined from 33 to 27 percent over the past quarter.

Generally, Canadians seem to be slightly more optimistic now, than they were just three months ago. After hearing a lot about how well Canada is doing, when compared to many other developed countries, it is not so surprising, though.
