Toronto Mayoral electoral candidates, Rocco Rossi and Rob Ford are gaining votes, just over a month before the actual elections! That is what a new public opinion poll conducted by Forum research, during last two days of August, claims.

If the actual election results are the same as the results of the survey, Rob Ford with 34 percent of the votes would be the winner. He was more successful than, the favored, George Smitherman who would only receive 22 percent of the votes. About 15 percent of respondents would vote for the already mentioned Rocco Rossi. Sarah Thomson would receive just 1 percent less than Rossi, at 14 percent. Finally, 11 percent of Torontians would vote for Joe Pantalone.

A victory for Ford seems to be the most popular choice lately, doesn’t it? This is just another poll among many which supports this prediction. The differences among the candidates are not that huge and more candidates are still in the race for Mayor.
