Kelly Holiff

Kelly Holiff is thrilled to be part of the first Cabaret at the China House, alongside these other gloriously talented folk. She has been working professionally in musicals for 3 years now. Kelly is also an established solo performer who has created and produced her own shows in Toronto. She currently plays the role of Joanne in Rent, and you can catch her as Tracy, in Hairspray this summer.

Renée Strassberg

Renée Strassberg  loves Chinese food, and singing for her supper. Past credits include: Madame de la Grande Bouche in Beauty and the Beast, Rizzo in Grease! and Rusty in Footloose. As company member with Ghostlight Projects: Marnie in Larger Than Life, and the swing in DebbieDoes Dallas. Creatively, Renée also wrote a two person cabaret called The Unscene Story which was presented at the Laugh Lines Theatre in Bancroft. She was also the production assistant on the Birdland and TIFT Dora Award Winning production of Assassins.

 
Lopez
David Lopez

David Lopez is no stranger to the Canadian theatre scene having performed on stages and in festivals all across the country. Selected favourites include featured and leading roles in CATS, The Buddy Holly Story, The Jungle Book, The Rocky Horror Show, Kiss Me Kate, High Society and Dreamgirls. He also received a Dora Award nomination for his performance in Ain't Misbehavin'. He has had the pleasure of performing in several Cabarets in the GTA and abroad, as well as playing in films for ABC, Disney, and CBC.

Pianist: Mark Selby
Mark Selby works by day as an associate producer for TV (upcoming shows include CBC's 75th anniversary primetime special), but can also be found at the piano as an accompanist for cabarets, auditions, workshops, and coaching sessions, as well as being a musical director and composer. Mark has directed two recent successes at the Hart House Theatre; the Canadian premiere of High Fidelity and the remount of Richard Ouzounian's production of Jerry Springer, the Opera and has contributed theatre reviews for the Toronto Star.
