In the early 19th century, the Mount Pleasant Cemetery was the only authorized cemetery within the city of Toronto. In 2000 the cemetery was designated a National Historic Site of Canada and today it is considered one of Toronto's tourist attractions. The cemetery forms the north border of the Moore Park Neighbourhood and this extraordinary detail became the inspiration for this photo of the day, captured by skillful photographer Daniel Varnus.
