Total Recall to Be Shot in Toronto

Toronto will be the venue for the shooting of another big movie in 2011, according to The Star. The movie, a remake of a famous 1990's movie "Total Recall" with Arnold Schwarzenegger, is supposed to start filming in Pinewood Studios in about two months, sometime in March.

The screenwriter of the remake is Kurt Wimmer and it will be directed by Len Wiseman, who also directed films such as "Underworld". Colin Farrell is slated to be featured in the movie, which I am sure will have women in Toronto excited! "Total Recall", with its $200 million budget, is most likely going to be the biggest-budget movie ever filmed in the city.

Who knows, it may well start some kind of a trend of big-budget movies being filmed in Toronto. I don't think it would be surprising, really.
