Hot New Restaurants in Toronto
By Elli Davis, March 16, 2011
One of my favourite things about Toronto is its many great restaurants. Currently a huge star in the culinary scene of New York, chef David Chang plans to broaden the variety of eateries in Toronto even further, as he will be opening two restaurants and a bar here in 2012.

Chang, whose restaurants are a big hit in the Big Apple, says he does not want to bring New York into our city. He wants nothing more than to serve tasty food in Toronto. As he mentioned in an interview for the Globe and Mail, Torontians and the spirit of the city are going to be very much involved with his projects. The plan is to hire local talent and make a special menu to celebrate what is uniquely Toronto.
I think many will be pleased to hear this news! I have heard nothing but positive things about David Chang and I can’t wait to visit one of his Toronto venues when they open. I look forward to posting a review about it, too!
