ElliDavis.com is promoting a new section focusing on "all things golf" in Toronto: the Toronto Golf Course Guide.

Elli is an avid golfer, as are many of her colleagues, friends, and clients.  For that reason, Elli is introducing her very own guide to Toronto golf courses on her real estate website.  This guide will help you find local golfing facilities and learn why you may find them interesting.

The guide will be an ever-growing catalogue, but we are opening with a few remarkable golf courses an easy driving distance from Toronto:

Masters Course at Lionhead Golf & Country Club
The Masters Course is the easier course Lionhead has to offer.  That is, of course, if you consider 18 fairways with 100 sand bunkers, 2 rivers and 9 ponds easy.  The fairways are long and winding, requiring precision and firm control of the ball by the player.  Go to Brampton to visit Lionhead's public courses yourself.

Legends Course at Lionhead Golf & Country Club
The Legends Course is the sister course of the Masters at Lionhead.  This 18-hole course is the more challenging and demanding of the two, providing for fun and exciting rounds of golf even for seasoned golfers.  You will need all your skill and perhaps a bit of luck to avoid all the bunkers and lakes to score a par.

Oakridge Golf Club
Port Perry is home to this 18-hole public golf course, only 60 minutes away from downtown Toronto.  Oakridge is a par 71 course with over 60 bunkers and water hazards.  The Course has a larger-than-average slope rating thanks to its elevated tees and specific design.  If the conditions for playing are adverse, you can make use of Oakridge's in-house golf simulator with a plethora of virtual renditions of actual Canadian golf courses.

Lakeridge Links & Whispering Ridge Courses
These two full-length 18-hole courses are sister courses located in Brooklin, Ontario.  Lakerige Links is better suited for championships and the recreational player, while Whispering Ridge prides itself on being an executive golf course.  Both of these courses offer varied challenges to visitors and you will get great value for your dollar.
