The Lion King in Toronto

“The Lion King” — I think just hearing these words makes many of us smile. Here is some good news for all Torontonians who love this story! The musical version of the infamous Disney classic returned to our city on April 20th!
The Lion King premiered on Broadway in 1997. It has been seen by more than 55 million people around the world, and its popularity is not declining. If you have not seen it yet, don‘t worry — you have not missed out. Luckily, we wiill be able to enjoy the musical for quite some time. It is going to stay in Toronto’s Princess of Wales theatre until June 12th, with shows every week from Tuesday to Saturday at 7:30 pm, plus Saturdays at 2:00 pm and Sundays at 1:00 pm and 6:30 pm.
Hundreds of tickets have been sold already. Many people are keen to see one of the most popular musicals in the world, so you should hurry up to get the best seats possible — or, considering its popularity, to get any seats at all.
