Spring Bazaar & Rummage Sale
On Friday, May 6th, the Spring Bazaar & Rummage Sale will take place at the Central Eglinton Community Centre. This fun event, including a cookie baking contest and a special used books room, is scheduled to start at 10:00 am and last until 2:00 pm. It promises to be very cool and it‘s all free, so take part and have a fun Friday morning!

Sweet Mother’s Day
Saturday, May 7th will be a perfect day for visiting Sherway Gardens to enjoy a special edition of Mother’s Day sweets. Hand crafted Love Lollies, together with hand decorated cupcakes and brownies, will definitely make for a nice Mother’s Day present. Furthermore, the profit goes toward a good cause, the Stephen Lewis Foundation.

Mother’s Day Brunch
There are various places in Toronto where you can have a tasty Mother’s Day brunch. The annual brunch at Casa Loma, for example, is extremely popular. Make sure to make a reservation for Sunday as soon as possible, though — in spite of multiple seating times, these events sell out pretty quickly.
