Their number is much lower than those that were only filmed here, but some are definitely worth seeing. The following films are not Canadian productions, however, so they have made our city better known internationally.

Movies are an amazing topic for discussion. Everyone has their favourites, and many envy the lives of their favourite characters from film. Over the years, a great many movies and TV series have been shot in Toronto, and many of them are very well known. Most, however, are not actually set in the city, so few people know that they’re seeing Toronto and not New York City or Chicago, or any of the other cities Toronto gets casted as.
