Thanks for the comment Mary! It sounds like a great piece of decoration (or art?), maybe you can take a photo and hang it somewhere on the web for us?
As far as I know, "Casa Loma" means "a house on the hill" in Spanish. Sir Henry Pellat drew his inspiration from his travels around Europe and was amazed by the local architecture (you can find many similar mansions in Europe, especially in the United Kingdom and France), but he included some of his own ideas as well. So I think it's not possible to say there is a "first" Casa Loma somewhere.
However, I will be happy if you share any information you find about this topic during your search here!

i just bought a framed picture of Casa Loma but the picture is not painted; the actual picture of the castle is set in a sculpture-like raised "brick" of sorts with the name "Casa Loma" etched on the bottom. Whoever designed this was very creative. The "raised sculptured brick" of the castle is approx. 1" x 5" matted to perfection with gold tones around the "brick." S speckled background of the brick in gold-tones and a beige mat, signed in gold by S. Lou, or S. Loo, or S. Loo, it's hard to read but it's clear. THe letters are handwritten. The frame is ornate gold and this hanging is absolutely fantastic! I had to do a Search for Casa Loma and am finding many catagories containing it. Where is the first Casa Loma? In Britian? I want to see if I can match the exterior of the front of the castle with the sculpted brick that I have. Thank you for your help. Maria
